Equal Opportunity
Section M-1. Equal Employment Opportunity
Medical Group will not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, religion, sex or national origin. Medical Group will take affirmative action to ensure that applicants are employed, and that employees are treated during employment, without regard to their race, color, religion, sec, or national origin. The nondiscrimination and affirmative action provisions contained in Executive Order 11246, as amended by Executive Order 11375 (and any future amendments or orders relating thereto), relative to equal employment opportunity for all persons without regard to race, color, religion, sex or national origin, and the implementing rules and regulations prescribed by the Secretary of Labor in Title 41, Part 60 of the Code of Federal Regulations are incorporated herein.
Section M-2. Employment of the Handicapped
Medical Group will not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of a physical or mental handicap in regard to any position for which the employee or applicant for employment is qualified. The nondiscrimination and affirmative action provisions contained in the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, relative to the employment of qualified handicapped individuals without discrimination based upon their physical or mental handicaps, and the implementing rules and regulations prescribed by the Secretary of Labor in Title 41, Part 60-741 of the Code of Federal Regulations, as amended, are incorporated herein.
Section M-3 Employment of disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era
Medical Group agrees not to discriminate against and to take affirmative action to employ and advance in employment qualified disabled veterans and veterans of the Vietnam era. the nondiscrimination and affirmative action clauses contained in the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act of 1974, as amended, and the implementing rules and regulations prescribed by the Secretary of Labor in Title 41, Part 60-250 of the code of federal Regulations, as amended, are incorporated herein.
Section M-4. Facilities Nondiscrimination
Medical Group certifies that it does not and will not discriminate against any employee or person because of race, sex, color, religion, national origin, age, physical or mental handicap, or veteran's status in the maintenance or furnishing of facilities, services, privileges or accommodations. the nonsegregated facilities clauses of Section 204 of Executive Order 11246 and Title VI of the civil Rights Act of 1964 and regulations promulgated thereunder are incorporated herein.
Section M-5. Utilization of Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business and Labor Surplus Area
Medical Group agrees that if it establishes a procurement function it will establish and conduct a subcontracting program for minority business enterprises, small businesses and labor surplus area concerns in accord with Executive Order 11625 and to comply with the Federal acquisition REgulation (FR) at 48 CFR Chapter 1, Parts 19 and 20, Subchapter D and Part 52, Subchapter H, which are incorporated herein.
