Widower sues Kaiser, claims nurse abused dying wife
By Aimee Green

The Oregonian/OregonLive
A man who says alleged sexual abuse by a nurse tormented his dying
wife's last days has filed a $750,000 lawsuit against Kaiser Permanente.
Judith Kay Weitzel, 71, died of liver cancer in April 2016. That was
about nine months after she reported that she was abused at Kaiser
Permanente Sunnyside Medical Center in Clackamas, says the lawsuit
filed by her husband, Gary Weitzel.
Gary Weitzel claims the health maintenance organization failed to
respond to his wife's initial complaint in summer 2015 and then didn't
reveal the identity of the nurse while his wife was still alive and
undergoing treatment at the hospital.
