Late one April night, the first of Sarah Valenzuela's twins arrived with little trouble, but the second stayed put.
Though the baby was not in distress, Kaiser Permanente perinatologist Hamid Safari attached a vacuum extractor to the boy's head to draw him out. Again and again he tugged, but still the baby would not come.
He vigorously shook the vacuum, up and down, side to side, according to government documents and hospital incident reports.
It took 90 minutes and six tries -- the last with Safari on his knees, pulling. Horrified staffers -- and the boy's father -- looked on as baby Devin finally emerged. His skin was a bloodless white, his neck elongated and floppy.
His spinal cord had been severed. mirrored for historical purposes at: https://kaiserpapers.com/californianews/noonewouldlisten.html

Several doctors denied to provide the proper medical attention that could have saved our sons life. We requested Blood test, X-rays and CT scans, if the doctors would have listened to our concerns as parents, our son would be alive today. In failing to do so our son was first checked starting July 7 and he past away on July 13 of a brain tumor undetected until it was too late to operate, all because doctors refused to listen to us. His symptoms were as follows:
After all this, several doctors stated that we were being over protective parents and should come back in a week, also that the tests we requested were too expensive to do and would only be done if they found reason to do so. Not only were we turned away once, but twice, but on the third visit we refused to leave.

A letter from Dr. Nayvin Gordon regarding the substandard care his daughter, a twenty year old San Francisco State University student received at Kaiser. Were it not for the Kaiser diluted, overly managed, corporate cost cutting features of standard, accepted by the entire world life saving procedures this young lady may well have not suffered permanent brain damage. Kaiser really botched this case but instead of owning up to it pulled strings all over the State of California with every government agency in existence to not be held accountable. The clock is ticking Kaiser and you are going to fall hard when the bell rings. Your time is past and we are all just going to let you lie there in the mud where you deserve to be.
How Kaiser has mistreated Miss.Breanna Pflaumer - http://www.hembree.us/Breanna.html Breanna Pflaumer is a young lady with parents that knew Kaiser wasn't telling all. For two years Kaiser had been pretending that she had little if anything wrong with her. For two years this young lady suffered and for two years Kaiser pretended that they did not know what was really wrong. This isn't malpractice, this is called committing fraud. Kaiser did it on purpose to avoid treating a patient.
Breanna was losing a lot of weight and had developed serious neurological problems. In characteristic Kaiser behavior several months went by before Kaiser could get around to allowing Breanna to be properly examined. Meanwhile Breanna's parents kept taking her back to Kaiser for medical care. This is called Kaiser medical billing fraud and is highly profitable to the company. Repeated co-pays being paid by patients that are being strung along make up a mighty tidy income for Kaiser. Kaiser staff played dumb and people do get the idea when this happens that the place is run by unprofessional, improperly trained phyciains. Nothing is further from the truth. They know exactly what they are doing with these matters and they are doing it on purpose.
When Kaiser was finally forced into examining this young lady they followed their classic pattern of delay of diagnosis by sending her to first an endocrinologist who misdiagnosed her, lied about what tests were run and sent her off to a dietician claiming that she had a eating disorder thus labeling her a mental patient.
Whenever any patient is labeled a mental patient in the Kaiser system that should be a big red flag to get a through physical examination somewhere else immediately.
To continue this standard treatment Kaiser tried to transfer the burden of actual cause of disease onto the patient. This is again a classic attempt to distract from what they are actually doing which is avoid providing medical care while collecting those co-pays. Finally, near the end of 2004 Kaiser diagnosed her with inoperable cancer. This is the time of year when Kaiser will intentionally misdiagnosis or underdiagnose or outright lie to the patient that there is no hope in order to have enough money left over in their budget to transfer to the Permanente for the physicians retirement fund.
Breanna's parents got her medical care outside the Kaiser system at their own expense. The fake Kaiser Review Board is refusing to reimburse the family for actual costs of "real" medical care. If it were a true Review Board the family would have already been reimbursed. Read the entire story and how it is progressing at: http://www.hembree.us/Breanna.htmlVianna Trenchuk waits alone in a cavernous room. It is empty, except for the cold metal bed she lies on and the machine she hopes will save her life.
Four screws hold an awkward metal frame steady on her head: two in front above her eyes and two behind, where a scar curves like a question mark down the back of her head. Doctors hoped a surgery to remove Vianna's rare tumor three years ago would cure her, but in January, a walnut-sized growth glowed white against black on the 15-year-old's brain scans. The disease was back.
"She is out of options," said Dr. Michael Miller, radiation oncologist at Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles. "That's a hard thing to accept."
When Kaiser doctors told the family this spring that there is no proven way to save or prolong Vianna's life, her parents, Dwayne and Sandra, launched an odyssey many with cancer brave: They decided to investigate the alternatives on their own.
Ryan Comer, a star high school baseball player with aspirations to play professionally, died of a rare form of pediatric cancer known as rhabdomyosarcoma in 1991 at age 17. Kaiser attorneys argued the treatment was not covered by Comer's HMO plan (through her job at AT&T) because it was experimental. Comer eventually raised $100,000 to cover the cost of the treatment, but Ryan's cancer was too advanced, and he died soon after. http://sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/e/a/1995/05/17/NEWS6859.dtl
On October 3, 1985, Corey Ramsdell was born. He was subsequently diagnosed with a medulloblastoma (brain tumor) which was removed on December 8, 1986. At that time Corey was placed on chemotherapy under the direction of Kaiser Hospital through Dr. Sam Lew. The chemotherapy involved the administration of Cytoxan and Cisplatin. The prescribed dosage was 700 mg of Cytoxan and 40-45 mg of Cisplatin. The chemotherapy was administered in three-month cycles. The Cytoxan was administered during the first two months of each cycle and the Cisplatin was administered during the third month.
On September 2, 1988, approximately one month before Corey completed his chemotherapy, he was admitted to Kaiser Hospital for Cytoxan treatment. Three hours after administration of the Cytoxan, the pharmacist noticed that an error had been made in its preparation. Insteading receiving 700 mg of Cytoxan, Corey received 70 mg of Cisplatin. http://www.vaagelaw.com/cases/CH20.asp
In what is described as the largest award ever in a Sacramento legal malpractice suit, a jury awarded an 11-year-old quadriplegic and her parents $2.35 million Tuesday after deciding the family's lawyer violated an attorney-client relationship.
The jury of 11 men and one woman unanimously found that attorney Rodney A. Klein breached his duties as the family's lawyer during a medical malpractice suit that ended in an out-of-court settlement in 1978.The jury unanimously awarded Traci McGill and her parents, Michael and Carolyn McGill, about $1 million in general damages, $469,392 in interest and $870,000 in exemplary damages.
The McGills' current attorney, Edward P. Freidberg, who specializes in legal malpractice cases, said it is the largest such award ever granted in Sacramento County. https://kaiserpapers.com/horror/11yearold.html
"One Spring morning in 1993 Lamona Adams took her six-month-old son, James, to a Kaiser Permanente medical office in suburban Atlanta. A doctor prescribed medication for an upper-respiratory infection. By 3:50 the next morning, however, the boy’s condition had worsened. James vomited, was limp and panting, and had a temperature of 104.
Adams called Kaiser’s after-hours number and was instructed to take James to the Scottish Rite Children’s Medical Center, about 40 miles away, which had a contract with the HMO. Thirty miles into the trip James lost consciousness, and the Adamses detoured to the nearest hospital. But by the time they arrived, the infant was in full cardiac arrest. An emergency-room team revived him, then sent him by ambulance to the Scottish Rite medical center, but permanent damage had already occurred. A few days later his hands were amputated, and he also suffered partial amputation of his legs. The Adamses sued, claiming that Kaiser should have treated the case as an emergency. Kaiser maintains Scottish Rite was the best choice because it specializes in children. But a jury awarded $45 million to the Adamses, who later settled with Kaiser for an undisclosed amount.
The youngster will need care for the rest of his life."
Reader's Digest, November, 1998.
Evidently, since 1993, the laws and/or patient contracts with Kaiser have been changed, because you can not sue Kaiser Permanente for killing and maiming. They can just kill and maim thousands and thousands of infants, children, and adults with impunity.
The same is true of other HMOs, but Kaiser may be the worst. The odds of Chris and Rod Royer's 12-year-old son getting the debilitating hip ailment known as Perthes disease were 1 in 5,000. But he did, and Chris knew things were bad in December 2001 when Ryan approached her as she sat in the stands watching him play basketball and said, "Mom, I can't run."
The Royers soon learned that the prognosis for Perthes, which causes deterioration of the thigh bone in the hip socket, was not good, especially for children in Ryan's age group. Kids like Ryan typically had to hunker down, withstand the arthritic-like pain the disease brought, and wait for hip-replacement surgery as adults.
Then the Royers got lucky. Chris learned about a relatively unknown procedure known as "distraction" that was performed at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore by its originator, Dror Paley, an outside-the-box orthopedic surgeon who reported 95% success rates.
The Royers, who live in Fullerton, asked their longtime health insurer Kaiser Permanente to pay for the surgery. The company refused, describing the procedure as "not medically necessary." The Royers, seeing Ryan's condition worsening to the point that pain sometimes left him in tears, signed up for it anyway. Last November, they took Ryan to Baltimore for the surgery, which cost about $50,000.
Once back in Orange County, Chris Royer took on Kaiser. Read more.......

In July, a 12-year-old girl hospitalized at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center-Santa Clara was mistakenly given a double dose of epinephrine, which speeds up the heart rate, state records show.
Josephine Frances Hart, a San Jose resident who loved to play with marbles, died July 26, the same day of the error. Her official cause of death is still being investigated by the county coroner's office, but state health investigators determined that a nurse failed to check the medication label.
The death of this young girl is tragic, and we're holding the hospital responsible,'' said Lea Brooks, a spokeswoman for the California Department of Health Services.
Kaiser-Santa Clara was found to be ``deficient'' in its delivery of care, but ``there is no provision in state law for a monetary fine for hospitals,'' Brooks said. The hospital has been required to come up with a plan of action to ensure such mistakes don't happen again.

CDC/Kaiser Genocidal Measles Vaccine Experiments on Minority Children Turn Deadly U.S. Medical System Conducts Ethnic Cleansing At Home and Abroad
In an experiment to find out of they could give high-potency Edmonston Zagreb (EZ) measles vaccine to babies as young as four months old [completing disregarding developmental neurology and lack of myelinization in the nervous system of babies] in order to overwhelm their natural maternal antibodies and replace them with vaccine-induced antibodies, medical "researchers" at the CDC and Johns Hopkins University injected thousands of babies in the Third World with the experimental vaccine that reportedly caused chronic immune suppression and the deaths of an unknown number of babies. Also, in the United States, with the help of Kaiser Permanente, more than 1500 six-month old black and Hispanic babies in inner city Los Angeles were "enrolled" in the experiment starting in June 1990. [ During the administration of president and ex-CIA director George Bush.] The study was halted in October 1991, after more than one year of genocidal activity, after repeated reports from vaccine trial sites in Africa that girl babies were dying in higher than expected numbers six months to three years after injection. [ A less-than-admirable population control effort.]

Kaiser Apologizes For Burial Mix-Up
Three Infants Mistakenly Buried Together POSTED: 7:16 pm PDT May 23, 2006 http://www.kcra.com/money/9264342/detail.html Mirrored at: https://kaiserpapers.com/horror/kaiserlostbodies.htmlOakland -- Oakland couple has filed a lawsuit against Kaiser Permanente Hospital claiming that the HMO lost the body of their stillborn daughter.
The child, Malika Armstrong, was stillborn at Kaiser's Hayward facility on November 23. Her parents, Elisaia Levingston and Joe Armstrong Jr., claim that while awaiting her autopsy results, the hospital informed them that it could not locate her body.
What happened to the body is a mystery. Attorneys allege that the hospital had the remains cremated against the parents' wishes. Kaiser officials yesterday said the hospital doesn't perform or authorize cremations and doesn't know what happened. Despite an hospital investigation and an extensive search -- even through hospital laundry -- the baby's body has never been found.
The suit alleges that after telling the parents the baby's body had been misplaced, the hospital offered Levingston her placenta for burial instead and $15,000 for the loss of the child's body. The suit claims that hospital officials told the parents at one point that the remains might have accidentally been placed with another body that was to be disposed of.

Tuesday, December 24, 2002 - Ebony Howard proudly insisted that this not be a "poor Ebony" story. Still, she knew she needed help.
Howard, a junior basketball player at Antelope Valley High of Lancaster, ripped a ligament in her left knee before spring break last year, threatening to rob her of the one passion in her life.
............
In March, Ebony had landed awkwardly during a pickup game with her teammates at Antelope Valley High. Since then, she has had surgery scheduled twice through her insurance carrier, Kaiser Permanente, only to be sent home each time because of last-minute questions about consent.
The second time, after she already had changed into a gown and climbed onto a gurney, Howard was so frustrated she decided to forgo the surgery altogether and play basketball this season, hoping a brace would provide sufficient support.
Mother blames Kaiser for son's death
When Linette McCan's 7-year-old son Gregory came to her complaining of a stomachache last Saturday, she never dreamed her child would be dead the next morning. She says doctors in the emergency room at Kaiser Permanente's Walnut Creek hospital ignored Gregory as he suffered from what turned out to be meningococcal sepsis, an infection that led to his death Sunday morning. https://kaiserpapers.com/californianews/gregorymccan.htmlIn June 1995, my 5-year-old granddaughter died in surgery following a failed attempt at removing Kidney Stones using a new orthoscopic procedure. Her autopsy report quotes one doctor as saying, "this death was caused by a surgical misadventure."
Infant Dies After HMO Fails to Approve $50 Test. ( Told by Elizabeth's mother Jamie Wooldridge )
On May 30, 1995, my daughter, Elizabeth, was born weighing 8 pounds. No one could ask for a more beautiful, healthy baby. But, by September 8, she was admitted to a Children's Hospital and diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis. By October 8, 1995 she was dead.
We believe she would be alive today if our HMO had OK'd a simple and inexpensive test when it was requested by her doctor. On August 23, we took her to the doctor for a cough and a slight fever. The doctor thought it could be Cystic Fibrosis, called the HMO and requested a sweat test at the cost of somewhere between $50 to $150. The HMO never called back.
